Welcome to: Car Whiplash

After a motor vehicle accident, a person may suffer various types of injuries including car whiplash. These are different injuries to the neck during a motor accident. Such injuries usually occur when the vehicle is hit from behind causing sudden, violent jolting of the head forwards and backwards. The injuries may be mild or severe depending on the intensity of the accident.
After such an accident, sometimes the symptoms may take a few hours or days before they present themselves. If the symptoms are mild, they may go away without treatment. If severe, the injury may take an indefinite period of time to heal.

Whiplash injuries are very common in car accidents. Whiplash is a neck damage that had occurred when the head violently moved backward and forward at the time of accident. There are major car whiplash injuries wherein the victims suffer with it throughout their lives.
There are minor whiplash injures which are cleared up quickly. The symptoms are pain, stiffness while moving the head and sometimes headaches continuing for a longer period after a car accident. An experienced solicitor must be approached so as to get the right compensation for your car accident claim.

Statistics in the automotive insurance industry assert that 9 of every 10 motorists will be involved in at least one accident in their lifetime. Most of those accidents will involve two or more vehicles where fault may lie with more than one motorist. One third of those motorists refuse to file an insurance claim for varying reasons with the biggest fear being that of losing their no-claims bonus.
A no-claims bonus is a discount that an insured driver receives each year that insurance is purchased and no claim is made on the policy. This can amount to a substantial discount off the cost of annual insurance premiums for drivers that are accident and claim free for 5 or more consecutive years.

Allianz Cornhill, a leading insurer, cited legal bills are the reason they are moving their routine whiplash claims investigations in house, saving the company an estimated £25m annually. The company plans on training employees to specialize in these cases and thus remove the need for external legal counsel. The company has been testing two pilot programmes in Leeds and Milton Keyes since June.
This program will be one of two the company will introduce on 30 January in an effort to eliminate unneeded legal costs and detect claims fraud. Bob Robbits, the Technical Claims Manager at Allianz said, "We will guarantee that the customer receives the same level of compensation but by handling it ourselves, we can substantially reduce associated legal costs by £1m a year.

If you do any amount of driving anywhere in Great Britain, whether England, Scotland, Wales, or islands belonging to the United Kingdom, you need to understand car accident laws for accidents claims in the U.K. With more cars on the road than ever before, more car accidents are naturally occurring.
Although none of us expect to be the cause or victim of a compensation claim, reality dictates that everyone in the UK should be prepared in the event of an accidental collision. The best way to prepare for a possible accident is to take out a suitable insurance policy.
